Philosophy on Magic

The Goal – To create stories that are filled with meaning and entertainment. We are not seeking to redefine fantasy, or web-lit, or literature. We seek to create the best tale possible, and convey such to an avid audience. A story is a spell unto itself, and the magic is much more persuasive when the caster understands the words.

The Art – Fantasy is the genre of choice. We will be showcasing short stories, flash fiction, comics and artwork by a host of creators.  As a wise man once quoted: “In the Beginning was the Word.” We start with the words on the page, characters and worlds brought to life by ink and imagination. From there we go where the story takes us.

The Audience – The most important part of any story: you. Without you the greatest tale is the ramblings of a mind to an empty room. If you like what you see, please share, comment and talk us up. Any questions you may have, we will try to respond as quickly as possible.

The Writer

Jack Holder – The brains behind the madness. Since I picked up The Dragonlance series by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman in middle school, I have been irrevocably turned towards writing. I completed my Master’s degree at Boston University in 2018, specializing in Church and the Arts.

I will always have a book on my mind and person, and when I’m not thinking about writing, I’m usually looking for the right Faerie Mound.
